Simplicity sums up display village at Newhaven

On 14/15 March 2009 Stockland launched its newest display village at the award-winning Newhaven estate by inviting visitors to take it easy with the help of a free crèche and free children's entertainment.

Aptly named 'Easy Street', the display village is characteristic of the simple purchase process incorporated into the carefully-planned and environmentally sensitive community, located 18km from Perth's CBD.

The Newhaven Easy Street Display Village consists of 17 new homes in total - four of which are by WA's leading residential builders including APG Homes, Dale Alcock Homes, Homebuyers Centre and Celebration Homes.

Stockland General Manager WA Graham McArthur said Easy Street combines the latest land, homes and finance packages available, all in one convenient location.

"We know that prospective purchasers are time-poor and can spend hours at the weekend driving around to locate their dream home, either not finding what they want or feeling confused with information-overload," he said.

"The Newhaven Easy Street Display Village has been designed to offer first homebuyers, families and downsizers stress-free information and guidance. It's without doubt a must-see destination and from the interest generated already, we know it will be a first choice for prospective buyers.

The Newhaven Easy Street Display Village is open between 1pm and 5pm on Saturdays and Sundays.

Newhaven is set in a lush natural environment which includes stunning parklands, children's playgrounds and unique public art. Future infrastructure plans include a primary school, shopping centre, oval and pavilion.

Located in Piara Waters (formally Forrestdale), Newhaven will eventually become home to around 2,500 households.
